Come along to the Currie family farm in Blackwaterfoot to enjoy a fabulous farm lunch of home reared steak mince and home-grown tatties, followed by a delicious homemade crumble made with apples from Shiskine Valley Community Garden. There’s vegetarian options too.
There’s fun and games for all the family including live music, a Tattie Toss and a chance to take part in the Farm to Fork challenge to test your knowledge of food and farming. You’ll also be able to get up close to the tractors and farm machinery, meet the animals and find out from what farming on Arran is really like.
Farmed by the Currie family for six generations, Bellevue produces its own beef, lamb, pork and goat meat which is used at many of the hotels and restaurants across the Island, as well as being available direct from the farm. It also produces malting barley used in the production of the famous Arran Whisky and is home to Bellevue creamery where the famous Arran Blue Cheese is produced.
