Bread and Bakers

Bread and Bakers, Arran has two excellent two bakeries. Wooley’s a traditional baker that has two shops and been in existence since the middle of the 19th Century. They also operate a takeaway service and sell their own pies, filled rolls, and pastries.  The Blackwater bakehouse is an Artisan bakery offering an ever-changing range of breads and pastries from sourdough to Kamut and chia, rhubarb tarts to hot cross buns.

Wooleys of Arran

Wooleys has been in business baking on the Isle of Arran since the middle of the nineteenth century. Present owner Lindsay Keir has been running the bakery since the 1980s.
