Arran’s capital (yes, we know it’s a village) has a lively music bar serving food and a range of cafés and restaurants with Arran produce on the menu. There’s a micro brewery who’s output is available in a local bar. On the Southern outskirts of the village is Arran Fine Foods makers of range of Arran produce including Arran Mustard. You can take a trip to Holy Isle and see a variety of rare breed animals and the fascinating organic kitchen garden at the Buddhist retreat.
