The Isle of Arran’s 5th Festival of Food and Drink promises to deliver a flavour filled journey around the Island to celebrate ‘Scotland in Minature’s’ seasonal harvest, award winning local produce, culinary creativity and community spirit.

Visitors and locals alike will be encouraged pick up a festival passport and travel to different locations around the Island to sample a range of festival dishes, delicious drinks and foodie experiences showcasing Arran’s local award winning produce.

Autumn inspired dishes, freshly caught seafood, real ales, artisan bakers, a farm to fork experience, hidden dining gems, café culture and cakes,  world leading whisky distilleries and stunning landscapes will be on the menu, as well as a chance to win a hamper of Arran goodies.

Events already confirmed for this year include:

  • A Mini-beer festival – hosted by Cladach Beach House.  A great way to sample real ales from the Island’s three breweries  offering a  range of  Scottish, Czech and Belgium inspired beers, as well as tastes from six independent breweries from across Scotland.
  • A fun Food Safari dining experience – visit each of the 4 different pubs and hotels in Lamlash to sample a different course showcasing delicious Island ingredients, ending with a live music shindig
  • Farm to Fork tasting experience at Bellevue Farm, including a discovery tour of the farm and chance to sample farm produced meats and award winning cheeses.
  • A Tattie Tasting pop-up hosted at Whiting Bay’s deli celebrating Arran’s Potato harvest heritage with locally inspired fillings
