Formerly a herring port Lochranza is now Arran’s other Whisky destination with distillery tours offering the chance to sample the product at the end. Lochranza is famous for te deer that roam freely around the village and eagles that circle over the distillery. As well as the distillery café there is also a restaurant and a takeaway by the ferry terminal.
