George Grassie has been running the Blackwater Bakehouse for 5 years. The Bakehouse makes fresh artisan bread every day from high-quality British organic flours and heritage grains, emphasizing Scottish farms and mills for the lowest possible food miles. The Bakehouse works collaboratively with other Island Businesses. Its fantastic bake is available direct from the bakehouse and at Bay Kitchen and Stores in Whiting Bay. They are also used by some of Arran’s hospitality providers.
