Owners Claire and Stuart took over in 2014 having spent time overseas and wanting to return to a more impactful life. They have created a shop that respects is 100 year historical legacy but in line with the times of offering a focus on fresh seasonal foods featuring food from local farms, an extensive whole foods range in a cosy homely space where folk come and the chat is important. The latest innovations to the shop are to offer zero waste wholefoods, and eco refill range and a packaging free initiative.
The team are proud to work with amazing local indie and artisan producers including Clachaig Farm, Robin’s Herbs, Woodside Farm, Blackwater Bakehouse and Charlottes Flowers.
